Auto-fill bookings that do not need checkout (free bookings) when customers are logged in

When setting up an event and choosing between these two options: (1) Pay to Book (2) Book without payment We are presented with two distinct behaviours. (1) Bookings must go through the checkout process (2) Bookings do not go through the checkout process, but contact details are requested (name, email, phone). My request is this, if someone is logged in and the event they are booking is without payment, don't pop up the contact details box, just create the booking using the details from the logged in user - massive help if you can do this.
