Everything you need to evaluate Easy Appointment Booking, written in simple language that everyone can understand.
Your data is yours
Your customers' booking data belongs to you. We process it to run bookings on your behalf, we never sell it, and we don't train AI on it. The details, in writing:
- Privacy Policy. What we collect, why, how we handle it, and your rights.
- Data Processing Addendum. Our GDPR and UK GDPR terms, Standard Contractual Clauses included, with the categories of data we process set out in full. It applies whenever the GDPR does, with no separate signature needed.
- Sub-processors. The companies that help us run the app, what each one does, and the region it processes in.
- Terms & Conditions. What you agree to when you use Easy Appointment Booking: plans and free trials, acceptable use, who is responsible for the messages we send your customers, the cap on our liability, and Ontario law.
How we keep it safe
We run on Shopify's platform with a managed database in the United States, and we never touch payment card data. Shopify handles every payment. Here's how the rest works in practice, and what to do if you find something we missed:
- Security measures. Encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication on production, per-store isolation, and an audit log that records internal access to your data, reads as well as changes.
- The booking widget your customers see. No analytics, session replay, advertising, or tracking code. It talks to our API and to Shopify, and nothing else.
- Report a vulnerability. Email us with Security in the subject line. We'll acknowledge it and keep you updated as we investigate.
Need something that isn’t here, or an answer these pages don’t give? Email us and we’ll route your question to the right people.
