If you are switching from another booking app, such as Appointo or Acuity, you don't have to type your upcoming bookings in again. Our team imports them for you.

The import is free on the Pro Plus plan and higher, for up to 500 upcoming bookings. It takes up to 4 days from when we have your file. Past bookings are not imported.

Step 1: Export your bookings

Export your upcoming bookings from your old app as a CSV, with one row per booking. We can't export them for you. If the export doesn't work, contact that app's support.

Make sure the file has, for each booking:

  • the customer's name, email, and phone, if you have it
  • the service and team member
  • the date, start time, and time zone
  • the number of attendees
  • the order number, if there is one

Step 2: Send it to us

  1. Click Support in the app menu and ask for a booking import.
  2. We send you a spreadsheet template. Make a copy and fill it in from your export.
  3. Share your copy with hey@getservicify.com.

Each booking needs a service in Easy Appointment Booking. If you haven't set one up yet, tell us its Shopify product, its length, and how many people can book the same time, and we create it. Do the same for team members: their name, email, time zone, and working hours. For private bookings with no product on your store, make a product for them first. You can keep it hidden from your storefront.

We check the file and ask you about anything that doesn't match. Then we import it and tell you when it's done.

What the import does

  • No emails or texts are sent. Customers don't get a new confirmation.
  • Imported bookings get no automatic reminders or follow-ups, and are not added to Google Calendar or Outlook. Only new bookings are. To remind a customer, open their booking on the Bookings page and click Remind.
  • Order numbers are kept in each booking's internal notes.
  • Imported bookings take up places, so those times fill up on your calendar like any other booking.
  • Services we create are turned off. Check them, then turn each one on: open it and click Turn on Event.

Only a few bookings?

You can add them yourself on any plan. Turn off confirmation emails for the service, then go to Bookings > Add a booking and use Select a custom time. Turn the emails back on when you're done. See Add a booking for a customer.

Bookings you add this way are normal bookings: they get reminders and are added to your calendar.
