Search by customer name for manual bookings

Right now you can only search by adding the full email address for customers when you are making a manual booking and attaching it to the customer. It would be much faster and easier if we could search by first or last name, instead of having to go into shopify, searching the customer, copying their email address and then going back into EAB manual booking to paste it in. Hope it's an easy fix! :)

Choose which events are shown in widget

I'd like to use the widget on my site, but only want certain events displayed, not all of them. I book private parties and public events, and only the public events should show in the widget.

Only highlight current date if availability

The current date is always shown with a highlight, indicating that there is availability. This is particularly noticeable when there is significant lead time for a booking (say, two days). It should only be highlighted if there is availability on that date. The current date is already in *bold* so shouldn’t need additional highlighting. (Screenshot taken on 18 July, when there was no availability until at least 21 July.)

Team Portal

I use the team portal option and want my franchisee to be able to see the variants in the dashboard or in the booking tab so they will know what product each customer selected since they won’t have access to my admin portal.

Make it so you don't have to accept appointments.

Can you make it so that you dont have to accept a booked appointment in google calender. So. Right now when you are booked for something, you have to accept it or decline it. by either saying Yes No Maybe. Can you make it so that you dont have to to this, so you can disable or enabled the feature.

Check In

It would be nice to have a checkin option where a photo of their ID can be taken to show that they were here but also for verification of age.

Notes

Have the service & variant on the booking so I will know what each guests booked when viewing on the phone. So for example these are the events I have synced to my calendar and then when I click on each one it will show their name as invitees. In the note section it should be what they ordered so we can revert back to phone to see what they ordered as a quick guide.

Customer rescheduling

When a customer is given an option to reschedule they can choose to reschedule for however many attendees even though they may have paid for 1 attendee initially. If this could be fixed so it only allowed them to reschedule for the number of attendees that they paid for initially that would be great.

Check in customers

It would be nice when viewing the bookings in agenda tab to have it where you can have a check box for customer checkin.

Modify "Booked With" through Reschedule Panel

The "Booked With" field in the Reschedule panel doesn't seem to do anything? I'd love to be able to change who the reservation is booked with without changing anything else.

Original Canny title: Is there a way to change the profile photo of the sender's email address (hey@getservicify.com)? We want our company logo to appear when customer receives booking notification emails. Is there a way to change the profile photo of the sender's email address (hey@getservicify.com)? Daily View

I'd like to be able to see a table for the day that shows team members in columns and hours in rows with reserved times blocked out so that I can see at a glance who's busy when for the day

Show order info in Booking

Please show if order that made the booking is paid or not at a glance (since pay-in-store is an option). Also, it'd be great if cancelling the relevant order deleted the booking (and restocked the timeslot for others to book).

Send emails with the store name

When sending emails, instead of saying "Servicify Appointments", it should appear to come from the store that sent it.

Setup cards on the dashboard

Easy Appointment Booking now shows setup cards on your Home dashboard for Klaviyo, Google Calendar, and intake questions. Each card explains the step and links to where you turn it on. Complete the step and the card leaves the dashboard.

Fixed short refunds on cancelled bookings

Fixed a bug where cancelling a paid booking could refund less than the customer paid. The refund now matches what the customer was charged, tax included, the same amount you would see in the Shopify admin refund screen.

Fixed wrong dates in booking emails

Fixed a bug where booking confirmation, reschedule and cancellation emails could show the wrong date for a customer's appointment. It happened on stores using certain languages and did not affect the actual booking, only what the email displayed. Emails now always show the correct date.

Restrict package bookings to the expiry window

Packages now have a setting to stop customers from booking sessions past the package's expiry date. Edit a package with an expiry and turn on "Only allow bookings inside the expiry period" to hide later dates at checkout and on reschedule. It's off by default, so existing packages keep working the way they already do until you turn it on.

Per-member Team Portal availability permissions

Team Portal availability permissions are no longer all-or-nothing. Go to Availabilities, select a team member with Team Portal login on, and set "Can edit their own availability" and "Can edit availability for their linked team members" separately. The team permission only reaches the staff linked to that person, so multi-location merchants can hand out portal access without handing over every other store's hours too.

POS check-ins stay checked in

Marking a customer as checked in now sticks. Leaving the booking and coming back no longer reverts them to not checked in. Booking rows in the check-in list are easier to scan, adding a customer to the cart undoes itself if you back out, and searching a very long number returns no results instead of an error.

Availability saves no longer overwrite each other

Saving an availability now sends only the fields you changed, so renaming one leaves its weekly hours and dated overrides alone. If your page was open while a newer save landed somewhere else, Easy Appointment Booking rejects the stale save and loads the current schedule instead of writing over it. Availabilities now records who made each schedule change, so you can trace an edit you did not expect.

Google Calendar conflicts respected in POS and customer accounts

Booking from POS and rescheduling from a customer account now check the staff member's connected Google Calendar before offering a time. Both surfaces used to ignore it, so they showed times the staff member was already busy for, and a customer rescheduling could book over an external appointment. This applies to staff who have a Google Calendar linked to their profile, which is a Pro feature. The storefront booking form already worked this way and is unchanged.

Search, filters and sorting on the Intake Questions page

The Intake Questions page now has search, filters and sorting, which matters once you are past a handful of questions. Search by question label or type, filter by event or by question type, and sort A-Z, Z-A, or by most recently updated. Each row also shows where the question is asked, so you can tell at a glance whether it applies to all events, one event, several, or none. Deleting a question no longer opens the edit window at the same time.

Reschedule and cancel inside customer accounts

Customers can now reschedule and cancel a booking without leaving their Shopify customer account. It works on the My Bookings page and from the order status page. Both previously sent the customer out to a separate page on your storefront partway through. The times offered respect the event's working hours, lead time, blackout dates and staff availability, and availability is checked again when the customer confirms. Whether customers can reschedule or cancel at all is still controlled per event, as before.

My Bookings page for customer accounts

Easy Appointment Booking now includes a My Bookings page for customer accounts. Turn it on from Shopify's checkout and accounts editor by adding the extension to the customer account header menu. Customers then get a self-service page listing upcoming and past bookings, purchased package balances, and waitlist requests, with reschedule and cancel links that respect your booking cutoff settings.

Admin portal

It would be great to add an admin seat to our team who can have access to the portal, but will not be logged into the shopify. They would still like full access to see bookings, availability, etc

Calendar event naming convention

Adding the name or relevant data of a client or any other pertinent information to a calendar title field serves several important purposes and meets various needs: Clarity and Identification: A calendar title with specific client names or relevant data makes it immediately clear what the event or appointment is about. This helps users quickly identify the purpose of the entry without needing to open it. Organization: Calendar entries can quickly accumulate, and without proper labels, it can become challenging to manage and prioritize them. Including client names or relevant data helps organize events and appointments into meaningful categories, making it easier to manage your schedule. Communication: If you are sharing your calendar with others, such as colleagues or team members, including client names or relevant data in the title allows them to understand the context of your schedule. This can facilitate better communication and coordination within your team. Efficiency: When you have multiple clients or projects, using names or relevant data in the calendar title can help you efficiently allocate time and resources. You can see at a glance how your time is distributed among different clients or tasks. Search and Retrieval: Calendar applications often have search functionalities. Including client names or relevant data in the title makes it easier to search for specific events or appointments related to a particular client or project. Avoid Confusion: Without specific labels, you might encounter confusion when you have similar events or appointments on your calendar. Adding client names or relevant data helps prevent scheduling conflicts and ensures you allocate your time correctly. Professionalism: In a professional setting, using client names or relevant data in the calendar title demonstrates attention to detail and professionalism. It shows that you take your commitments seriously and are well-prepared for meetings or appointments. Documentation: Calendar entries often serve as a form of documentation. When you include client names or relevant data in the title, it provides a record of past events and interactions, which can be valuable for tracking progress and maintaining a history of client interactions. Prioritization: Having client names or relevant data in the calendar title can help you prioritize your workload effectively. You can easily see which appointments or tasks are related to high-priority clients or projects. In summary, adding the name or relevant data of a client or any other pertinent information to a calendar title field is essential for clarity, organization, communication, efficiency, and professionalism. It helps streamline your scheduling process and ensures that you can effectively manage your time and commitments, especially when dealing with multiple clients or projects.

Convert a request to an order

As a customer, I make a transaction to be paid later. Can it be easily and quickly transformed into an order in my backend and then sending a payment link according to the options and customer information selected: name, email, telephone number, products, variants, etc. ?

Change number of attendees when rescheduling bookings

I've had a couple of sessions where people have booked in for X amount of people and have then either reduced or increased the number of people they'd like to send. Currently there's no way to edit their original booking to comply with this. Not necessarily a problem if they're adding people (I can just create a new booking for the extra people), however it becomes an issue when they're removing attendees and I'd like to free up those spaces for new people to join the class.

Calendar Invite Should Include Customer's Address

If the merchant has a custom field asking for the customer's address, then it would be easier for both the merchant and the customer if the calendar invite includes the address. Currently, the merchant has to go to Shpoify Bookings to see details.
