Ability to add multiple add-ons/variants to one service. Add-ons have different pricing and extends the duration of the appointment.
You currently have to add individual events for each service which is a lot of different combinations when you have 20+ services and 10+ add-ons.
This option is pretty common in the beauty industry.
ex. customer books a facial and add-on extractions and eye mask to service OR customer books a hair cut and add-ons a gloss + hair treatment.
There are currently no Shopify POS compatible booking apps that offer this feature so it presents a significant gap in the market.
I’m looking to see if there is a way to support variable pricing for the same service or event based on the day of the week. Our business offers ear piercing services that require a $15 deposit when booking an appointment. However, we would like to run a recurring promotion offering free piercings every Wednesday, which would require the deposit to be waived on that specific day only.
Having the ability to adjust pricing or deposits by date or day of the week for a single service would allow us to easily manage promotions without creating separate listings or manual workarounds.
The ability to send an email to all the customers for one timeslots easily is no longer there. Reintroduce this as it takes more time and effort to send emails to one customer at a time
It'd be great if you could book multiple bookings so what I mean by that is we've got a client coming this week for Doggie Day Care Tuesday and Thursday of this week and same again next week and I've had to book them as individual bookings giving our client four separate emails it'd be great if you could set the booking all in one appointment and send them the confirmation email of all the Bookings together
Hi! It would really be helpful for us and our workflow if we could print out the class roster for each class. For instance, in our pottery studio we offer 3-week wheel throwing classes and people make pieces to keep. So, we hold their pieces to do the next part of the process each week. We need a paper to put on the shelf with the class pieces so that we know what belongs to which class. We also keep track of the students by having them "sign in" at each class when they arrive with the teacher.
The electronic check in is great for the front desk, but we also need the actual paper for the instructor in the studio.
Perhaps just an option for printing a .pdf of the list view would be enough. Thank you!
When looking on mobile some customers do not know you must scroll down to find the time after the calendar or date slots. This is confusing for some and it would be nice for it to show and not only once you scroll.
I would like the ability to add different ticket types in the same booking - for example choosing an adult for $25 and a child for $12.50, having the varying prices in the one booking that just add up and will also reflect on the total capacity of the session. It is a little bizarre that they would have to be put though separately at present.
Summary:
Currently, team member availability is managed globally across all events in the team portal, which creates challenges when a practitioner or team member is involved in multiple events with different schedules. We need the ability to set different availability times for the same team member based on the event they are assigned to.
Problem:
A single team member may have different availability for various events (e.g., Free Consultations from 1-2pm and Package Events from 2-5pm). However, with the current system, availability applies universally to all events, leading to overbooking or incorrect scheduling. This is problematic when events occur at different times, as the team member’s availability cannot be tied to specific event schedules.
Request:
Allow event-specific availability for team members within the same team portal. This would enable flexibility in scheduling, ensuring that team members can be booked only during their available times for each specific event. For example, if a practitioner is only available for consultations from 1-2pm and for package events from 2-5pm, the system should reflect these unique times for each respective event, preventing any overlap or confusion.
Benefit:
This feature will streamline scheduling for team members with multiple event types, eliminate the risk of double-booking, and enhance the overall user experience for both practitioners and customers.
When setting up an event, allow users to skip the calendar for non-recurring, one-time events, so when the customer books the event, they're directed straight to intake questions or their cart, as the case may be. For example, our business holds one-time cake-decorating workshops, where the calendar is unnecessary because (1) the customer does not select a date, it is predetermined for them; and (2) the product description and post-booking calendar invite include the date and time of the event. There is no date selection needed, and thus no need for the calendar. This would reduce the # of clicks when booking, thus simplifying the customer's booking experience.
Be able to use text customization for specific events only, not all events, since changing general text settings, like the number of attendees, applies to all events.
Customers sometimes don't book in time and then ask me to take the reservation off their bookings after the event has occurred. I can't do that at the moment, so have to do a reservation for another class and tell the client to ignore it, it's a little messy.
Conditional intake questions that appear based on a customer's previous answer. Ex:
Q1: How big is your group
- 1, 2,3 or 4
If the customers selects 3, then question 2 appears
- If the custom field is a free form, the integration with Google Maps would ensure that the address the customer is entering is correct and there are no typos
- Possibility to pick the closest location from the customer
As of now, clients on a waiting list do not receive an automatic email when there is a cancellation, the admin needs to manually send it. All clients on a waiting list for an event should receive an automatic email as soon as there is a cancellation. Thank you.
Right now when you hit select an event and then put in the customer info, if the customer changes their mind and wants to do a different event the customer info disappears. We have clients regularly deciding between two events it would be great if we could swap events and not loose all their information every time. Small change but would just make booking so much smoother.
Original Canny title: Two event availabilities shown in one booking calendar to point people to another event that is available on the same day
We currently have two different types of tours running on the same day. At present, if one tour type is fully booked, the date appears unavailable in the calendar, even though another tour on the same day may still have availability.
We would like the existing booking calendar widget (not a separate calendar) to better handle multiple event types and communicate availability more clearly.
Requested changes:
Multiple availability handling
If one tour is fully booked but another tour on the same day still has availability, the date should not appear completely unavailable.
Users should clearly see that an alternative tour is available.
Clear referral to alternative product
If a selected tour is fully booked, users should be shown a clear message stating “Fully booked” (instead of “No timeslots left”).
Beneath this message, there should be a clear link directing users to the alternative available tour on that same date (for example: “View available afternoon tour”).
Ideally, this link should take users directly to the relevant product page.
Calendar visual distinction
Dates that are entirely unavailable (no tours available at all) should be visually distinct.
The current greyed-out styling blends too closely with the rest of the calendar.
Fully unavailable dates should use a clearly differentiated colour or styling so users can easily distinguish between:
Fully unavailable dates
Partially available dates (one event available, one fully booked)
Fully available dates
When you click on a day, timeslots appear on the right for both events, the secondary event is highlighted in the same colour as the on the calendar and labelled as the other event
The goal is to reduce booking drop-off and make alternative availability immediately visible within the same booking flow, rather than requiring users to navigate elsewhere or assume the day is fully booked.
We use the Calendar for more then just booking. We want customers to see all the classes even if full. Right now when a class is full, it comes off the calendar. We don't want it to come off.
Most products I want to upsell have multiple variants. Currently, all the variants are grouped into one dropdown menu, resulting in too many combos. Customers should be able to select from separate dropdown menus which variants of the upsell product they would like to purchase.
I frequently add new events and want them all to appear on the monthly multi-event calendar (which is linked to widgets from the Settings tab > Marketing). It would be much easier if new events are automatically added to the monthly multi-event calendar, rather than me doing it manually each time.
I am using the plugin on a new site for a client that has monthly classes, each class has a different theme, and needs a different event and product. Would love some way to automatically remove the product from the front-end on the day of the last class to prevent any confusion and accidental booking of past events. Also would prevent my client from having to manually remove them, as their current/old website automatically removes them.
We host pottery classes and in order to use this app we need the functionality to manually trigger a "pickup-notification" to all attendees of a certain event, that their pottery has been fired and is ready to pick up. The automatic notification right after the event would not work and the tima after can vary, therefor it needs to be manually triggered.
A calendar that customers can book sessions from. The current calendar lets them choose a session then just redirects to the product page where they have to click again to get the availability up.
Ideally, an interactive calendar would be customisable, with colours / images. Customers could view a week at a time and see all slots. When hovering over a slot they can then view more info (product page) or book the slot. I've attached a couple of mock ups from the timetable we use on our website. It would be useful to show sold out slots too, perhaps with a wait list option when hovering.
It would be extremely handy to be able to automate this whole process. So the customer can pay a deposit to secure their service (already a great feature) but to make it even better a setting to allow you to select a certain number of days before hand for the event their card is automatically charged. Taking away the need to manually be following these bookings and sending the invoice manually.
For example:
Guest answer question 1; are you male --> Yes
All next question are male
Quest answer question 1; are you male --> No
Skip all male questions and show female questions
So a different flow depending on the answer
Offer a way of creating date specific pricing for services. Either a programmed discount for a set of days or ability to have uniquely priced variants available based on the date of the experience being booked. The idea being that prices/discounts are pre-set automatically by date booked rather than the customer having to choose a differently named variant. So prices are not based on which day a customer is making the booking but rather on the day they are booking for the service/experience. This could allow service providers to make slower days or weeks more appealing to customers.
Kind of like when you are booking accommodations and you can see the calendar with the different prices on different days.
need to be able to insert images in custom field. I run workshops and I need the attendees to be able to see the image they selected during the checkout process to confirm it is the right design choice that they want.
Hello,
I wanted to submit a feature request for appointment scheduling.
It would be really helpful if appointments could have a maximum duration rather than a fixed duration. For example, a service might normally last up to 2 hours, but if a customer books close to the end of business hours, the appointment would automatically end at closing time instead of preventing the booking or extending beyond operating hours.
Example:
Business hours: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Standard appointment length: up to 2 hours
Customer books at 4:30 PM
Booking is confirmed for 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM
This would allow businesses to make use of otherwise unavailable time near closing while still respecting operating hours.
Is this something that's currently supported, or would it be possible to consider adding in the future?
Thank you!
I would like to be able to search ALL bookings made, not just "upcoming" or "last 30 days" etc. It would be helpful to be able to quickly search for bookings without having to think about where to find it. Right now there's no way to pull up a customer name or booking quickly without knowing the date their booking was made if it was over 30 days ago.
Hi, I would like to request a feature where customers sign up for the waitlist for a full day rather than a specific time. Since we have a very limited number of bookings, clients are often flexible to book in, and they often request to sign up for a full day. Please let me know whether this is possible.
It would also be great if the notifications are automated, so when a customer cancels or reschedules an appointment themselves, clients on the waitlist will automatically get notified. We have lots of clients on our waitlist and it would be very difficult to go through it all.
I really hope this is possible. Thanks in advance.
Be able to edit the deposit message during the booking flow. Currently, it only shows: You'll pay a partial deposit today, and pay the remainder later.
When guests add themselves to a waitlist for an event, it would be ideal if they could specify how many people or tickets they require. This would help us better understand demand for our events and assist with future planning.
We have host a weekly walk-in style event in which people can, but don't have to, sign up ahead of time. We also need to option for people to be able to sign up after the event has begun, as the event is a come-when-you-want type event.
Oftentimes, I go to the Bookings tab > search for a Booking > I will see a few bookings appear matching the search results > click on "Notifications" for a particular booking.
Then, when I go back to the previous page, it starts from scratch. Ideally, when I go back, I should see the bookings from my previous search result.
