One-Off and Specific-Date Events

Date overrides let you offer a service on selected dates without changing your regular weekly schedule. This works well for pop-ups, workshops, seasonal events, and one-day appointments.

Offer multiple pop-up dates

1. In Easy Appointment Booking, open the event and click Edit.
2. Open the Availability tab.
3. Find the availability assigned to the event and click Set Schedule.
4. Scroll to Date overrides (also called Specific Date Schedules in some app versions).
5. Click Select a date or date range, choose the first event date, and add the start and end times.
6. Add another date override for each additional pop-up date.
7. Click Apply Schedule, then Save Changes.

If the weekly schedule is blank and you only add date overrides, customers see only those override dates and times on the booking calendar.

Offer one event on one day

For a single date, you can use the same date-override process. Another option is to set the event's customer booking window to start on the event date and end the following day. For example, an event held on October 26 can use a start date of October 26 and an end date of October 27.

Use date overrides when you need several separate dates. Use a start and end date when you need one continuous offering or one isolated day.

Limit how far into the future customers can book

To keep a recurring event from accepting bookings indefinitely:

1. Open the event's Availability tab.
2. Find Customer Booking Options.
3. Choose Book until a specific number of days into the future.
4. Enter the number of days and save the event.

This limit works alongside lead time, which controls how close to the appointment a customer may book.
