If your needs have changed, you can switch to a lower plan or cancel at any time. Your data is always preserved — nothing is deleted when you downgrade.
Downgrading to a lower paid plan
If you're on a higher paid plan and want to move to a lower one:
- In the app, go to Pricing
- Click the plan you want to downgrade to
- Confirm the change when prompted
The switch takes effect immediately. Shopify applies the change right away and adjusts your next billing date accordingly — you're only charged for the days you used the higher plan.
Downgrading to Free
To switch to the Free plan, follow the same steps above and click Downgrade to Free. Before the change is applied, the app shows you:
- Which features you'll lose access to
- Whether you have more active services than the Free plan allows (Free includes 1 service)
If you have more than one active service, the extra services are disabled — not deleted. Your service configurations, bookings, and customer data are all preserved. If you upgrade again later, you can re-enable them immediately.
When you downgrade beyond your plan's service limit, extra services are disabled automatically. Customers won't be able to book those services until you re-enable them by upgrading your plan. Nothing is permanently deleted.
What changes when you downgrade to Free:
- Team member portal access is disabled
- Google Calendar and Outlook integrations are disconnected
- Custom email sender address is removed (notification emails revert to the default sender)
- Any features above the Free tier stop working immediately
Your bookings, customer data, and service configurations remain intact regardless of which plan you're on.
Cancelling entirely
To cancel your subscription, uninstall the app from your Shopify Admin:
- In Shopify Admin, go to Apps
- Find Easy Appointment Booking and click Delete
- Confirm the uninstall
Uninstalling stops billing immediately — there are no further charges after you remove the app.
What happens to your data after uninstalling:
- Your bookings, services, and customer data are retained for 30 days in case you reinstall
- After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted
- If you reinstall within 30 days, your data is restored automatically
If you're thinking about cancelling because something isn't working the way you expected, reach out to us first at hey@getservicify.com. Many issues — from setup problems to notification quirks — can be resolved quickly, and we're happy to help.
