Upgrading takes about a minute. New features work as soon as Shopify confirms the charge. Nothing you set up is changed or lost.
Upgrade
- Click Account in the app menu.
- Choose Monthly Plans or Annual Plans. Yearly costs about two months less.
- On the plan you want, click Start 7-day trial.
- Shopify shows the price. Click Approve.
You are back in the app, on the new plan.
If you change plans partway through a month, Shopify adjusts the charge for the days left. The Shopify page shows the exact amount before you approve.
Use a promo code
Enter the code before you choose a plan. It cannot be added afterwards.
- Click Account in the app menu.
- Click I have a promo code.
- Type the code and click Apply.
- Choose your plan.
Most codes give a credit on your first month. The credit shows on your Shopify bill. Each code has its own rules. At the moment, all codes work on monthly plans only, and some only work on certain plans. The app tells you if a code does not fit the plan you chose.
During the Shopify Plus trial
If your store started on the free 14-day Ultimate trial, you can choose a plan at any time. It does not end the trial early or charge you twice. Your plan starts when the trial ends.
If you do not choose a plan, your store moves to the Free plan when the trial ends. See Plans and pricing.
