In Easy Appointment Booking, every booking is one start time on one day. A booking cannot run from one date to another, for example Tuesday to Thursday. The app does not have multi-day bookings or overnight rentals yet.
You can still sell a workshop or retreat that runs over several days. Choose the setup that fits how customers attend.
Customers attend every day: book the first day
Use this for a 3-day course or a weekend retreat that customers buy as one thing.
- Make a service for the workshop. See Offer a one-time event or specific dates.
- Open only the first day of each run, at the start time. For example, for a course from Tuesday to Thursday, open the Tuesday.
- Set Number of Attendees to the number of places in the workshop.
- In Description, write the full schedule, for example "Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 to 16:00 each day". See Add a description, notes, and a location.
- In Event Notes, repeat the dates. Event Notes show in the booking emails.
Customers book the first day and pay once. The booking emails and the Bookings page show the first day only.
If you run the workshop on several dates, give each run its own first day. Customers then choose the run they want. One booking is one place in that run.
If your team or room is busy on the other days too, block those days so no other service books them. See Block off a day or change hours for a date.
Customers choose their own days: sell a package
Use this when customers come to a number of sessions on the days they choose, such as a 4-week course.
Sell a package. The customer pays once, then books each session as a separate booking. Packages need the Pro Plus plan or higher.
Full-day rentals
Use this for equipment or a space that customers rent by the day.
Make the service as long as your open hours, so each day has one time slot. A customer who wants two days makes two bookings. Duration is in minutes, so a day from 9:00 to 17:00 is 480 minutes.
What does not work
- One booking that covers several dates.
- Overnight bookings, such as a check-in day and a check-out day.
- A service longer than one day. Duration is counted inside one day, so do not set it to 24 hours or more.
